Shawn Slaughter

A native of California, currently residing in Houston, TX. Shawn is the Vice President, Senior Program Manager for Wells Fargo At Work (WFAW) Affluent Strategy and Segment division where he manages the Southeast Texas and Louisiana region. Shawn is responsible for managing a portfolio of large and multi-state fortune 500 organizations where he aids corporate and commercial clients with their financial wellness programs. Shawn’s tenure in the banking industry spans over 20 years where he has had the pleasure of serving as a Branch Manager and Private Client Manager, in Chicago, Dallas, Washington, DC and Los Angeles. During his time at Wells Shawn has participated in several Wells Fargo at Work initiatives presenting various programs at high schools, colleges, corporations, and community organizations. Shawn also serves as a board member with the Wells Fargo My Generation employee resource group.

Shawn is a proud alumnus of Prairie View A&M University in Houston, TX. During Shawn’s educational journey, he developed a love for exercise and his competitive nature. Shawn is a certified Indoor Cycling Instructor with 12 years of experience, Avid Outdoor Cyclist and has completed 6 marathons. In Shawn’s spare time he enjoys game nights with family and friends as well as motivating his tribe to take a holistic approach to both their financial and physical health.
