James Miller

James Miller, born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, received his BS with Honors from East Tennessee State University. He also graduated with his MBA with Honors from the University of Tennessee, his Master of Economics with Honors from the University of Memphis, and the Commercial Banking Leading School with Honors from Vanderbilt University.

James is married to Sybil Miller and has two sons, Junis and Tyler Miller. He currently works for the First Tennessee Bank, where he has served in numerous positions since 1973. James is the Founding President of 100 Black Men of Chattanooga, Inc. In addition, James has served on several Boards and he is a member of numerous Civic organizations including Boys Scouts of America.
