OVERVIEW
Kolarele Sonaike is a Communication Skills Coach helping executives and entrepreneurs develop outstanding communication skills to accelerate their careers or businesses.
Through deep coaching sessions and interactive workshops, Kolarele teaches what he calls the ‘Communication SuperSkills’ (master-storytelling; impact writing; neuro-persuasion; conflict-free negotiating; leadership communication etc), guiding his clients to unlock their mindsets and build the confidence to communicate with impact.
For companies & organisations seeking to improve the levels of diversity within their senior ranks, Kolarele also delivers programmes on leadership & communication skills to empower the career ownership & advancement o their f Black employees.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Kolarele has been a practising Barrister and accredited Mediator for over 20 years, representing clients (from multinationals to small business entrepreneurs) in the High Court, Employment Tribunals and Court of Appeal. His casework covers areas such as shareholder & director disputes, contractual disagreements, and unfair dismissal & discrimination, giving him a unique insight into the everyday challenges and conflicts that arise in the workplace, and how they undermine productivity.
He is the host of The Great Speech Podcast, a highly rated bi-weekly show on topics related to public speaking and communication, and his book ‘How to Give a Great Speech’ is available on Amazon and in bookshops around the world.
He has also written a children’s picture book ‘The Bird that had Vertigo’ currently sold on Amazon.
He has delivered coaching and training workshops for companies and organisations, including The Bank of England, Elavon, Bank of America, Federation of Small Businesses, Jones Lang LaSalle, Your Business Community, Local Government Association, BT OpenReach, University of East London, Your Future Your Ambition and others.
As a Facilitator and Keynote Speaker he gives presentations on leadership, diversity & inclusion, communication, business pitching, and entrepreneurship. He has also featured as a Communication Skills Coach on the TV show ‘The Updaters’ on Amazon Prime TV.
Kolarele is a former President of the 100 Black Men of London and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the 100 Black Men of America responsible for international representation.
